Liverpool International Festival of Psychedelia is a pan-continental celebration of audio-futurists, operating at the bleeding edge of today’s psychedelic renaissance. For two days each September, Liverpool’s former industrial heartland beats once more, to motorik throb and shimmering drone, a kaleidoscopic celebration in a global psychedelic village. Liverpool Psych Fest is a two-day happening, held over the weekend of 22 & 23 September 2017 within the warehouses and recesses of Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle. The festival site contains four performance spaces, housed in complex of warehouses across Camp and Furnace, Blade Factory and District.

The Musings In Drone symposia will feature Q&As with Emmanuel ‘Jagari’ Chanda and the makers of the W.I.T.C.H. documentary and a rare interview with Matt Jones and John Dwyer from Castle Face Records.

This year’s festival will include exclusive new virtual reality installations, an immersive late night audio visual experience, a short film programme developed in partnership with FACT cinema, Dig Vinyl’s onsite record store “PSYCHEDELIC WORLD OF WAX WONDERS”, and the Bold Street Bedouin Boudoir starring Bold Street Coffee, Blackwell’s Bookshop and Red Brick Vintage.
Ahead of all this, for the first time this year’s Liverpool Psych Fest will enjoy an opening party at Constellations, on Thursday 21st September. The line-up include Ducktails, Ali Horn, The Goa Express and White Rabbit Lightshow.
