Italian artist and music producer Gangalistics (G.Ganga) based in Liverpool, releases a new instrumental single Blue Moon Rising, the first synthwave tune extracted from his first Tape (audio cassette) released in a limited edition a few months ago. This track has been released with a video edit from the 1986 movie Black Moon Rising.

Gangalistics takes inspiration by the 80s movies, video games and cartoons but also from composers like John Carpenter, Vangelis and Tangerine Dream, Giorgio Moroder. From an aesthetic point of view, synthwave and all its variations shows a retro-futuristic perspective, emulating science fiction, action and horror of the 80s era.
