Flub (Gianluca Ganga) is an eclectic artist and music producer from Italy (Sardinia) who lives in Liverpool (UK). We already met him when he realesed his first video-single “Sphera” (available on Youtube). All Flub’s releases are available on spotify, youtube and other digital stores.

Behind Dream Thief the concept is about a world that has now let itself go to the inevitable physical and psychological materialism and the only way to stay out of this saturated and infected system is to dream. The track is a mix of musical genres ranging from hiphop / downtempo to more cinematic atmospheres. This  video, shot in Liverpool city centre (between Liverpool one; Albert Dock; Blue coat gallery), was directed and edited by Daniel Toole, photographer and video maker and include the participation of the Italian dancer and performer Arianna Sansone.

A man comes into contact with an ancient entity (a woman) who, seeing his attention to the evils of the world, decides to give him the key to understanding the secrets of the world and its weaknesses. The entity gives one chance in exchange for its dreams. The video is a succession of grey, gloomy and blurry scenarios that have the city of Liverpool as protagonist, where in the end the man finally understands that he has been deceived and he is now a prisoner of the entity, as a virus that keeps him anchored to that fictitious and superficial reality.

In Flub’s word “In these uncertain times I hope my music can help one way or another to get through this though shit.” Dream Thief “ is also about the people. We joined, collaborating all together to create this video and that’s what we should do as human beings to overcome this severe challenge.
