Today our “guest” is Gabriele Mario Ganga aka Gangalistics, a Liverpool based artist and producer born with us since the beginning. In this short interview he tells us about his future projects focusing on his Trilogy produced as a Tribute to the well known British Tv Series “Black Mirror”. With his work Gangalistics represents a cultural bridge between 2 islands, Sardinia and Great Britain. We wish you a good read and share our contents if you want to support us.

N: Let’s start with the latest news. We know you live in Liverpool now, how’s life in the UK?
It’s good you know, I’m happy to be here. Liverpool is a city to discover and in constant evolution. There is a lot of culture, history, art expecially music. In 2008, by the way, it was elected the European Capital of Culture. Obviously I am confronting a different reality, that is completely different from what I was used to. This fact gives me more motivation and I can only learn and grow, not only artistically speaking. When someone wants to make a contact with a new social and artistic environment, you are starting from scratch and you need to have the will and humility to adapt and feed your curiosity constantly.
This  journey (I’d call it ”research”) has been facilitated, in my case, by the fact that up to now I was lucky enough to met and know people with whom I started to collaborate. This is clearly the beginning of a new experience. The time I’ve spent is still too small to give further judgments or pull any results, basically, I’ve so many projects in progress and the best is yet to come. Talking about news, I can say that in the past few months we have been very busy with Nootempo, especially productionwise: I produced and mastered an instrumental and some vocals for the new single by Quilo (Sa Razza) TBA with an official video. I also worked,  mixed and mastered Flubs’ first album (release scheduled for mid-2019) which will be preceded by a single with video clips TBA as as well.
N: You are about to release a very interesting project dedicated to the famous British TV series “Black Mirror”, tell us more about it and how you have developed this production.
I’m a big fan of Black Mirror and its creator Charlie Brooker; to be honest I discovered it too late from its first release. I decided to dedicate a production, because I care about the recurring theme: the side effects of technology. In each episode they emphasize what could be our future relationship with it. If we think about it, we are already dependent and addicted to it: in essence, there is no difference between reality and fiction. In the music I produce, there is a growing connection with images and everything that is visual. In other words, I wanted to give my own interpretation of what I experienced watching Black Mirror, trying to concentrate more moods and atmospheres in only one track. The entire work is entitled ”Black Mirror Trilogy” and will be available on iTunes, Apple music and Spotify.
N: What other projects do you have in your secret hard drive?
Many, one in particular: my second album. I think now It’s time  to take a new path and the next few months will be crucial to give it a real shape. As I already said, I was already working on new ideas and grooves and now that I’m definitely more inclined to electronics. Giving also more importance to the vocal parts, I’m trying to create a good balance between those sound elements that I would like to focus on for this new work. I’ve also produced a track as a tribute to Bob Lazar, being (and I’m not the only one) fascinated by his story and interested on the ufo/Area 51 matter, I could not resist. It is no coincidence that this production coincides with the release of a new documentary about the subject, by the American documentary filmmaker Jeremy Kenyon Lockyer Corbell. If you don’t know what I’m talking about, google will surely help you find more information about it.
